rat fangs.

a silent scream.

In the scream, 

a weep, 

in the weep, 

a cloak, 

in the cloak, I — 

baring fangs like a rat in a dark dream, 

on a dark night.

On your lips: 

silence, a whisper.

And in the whisper, you, 

and in you, a weep, 

from which tears flow to nowhere.

And from this nowhere 

emerges the dawn, 

pale as fear, 

cold as a gasp.

In the dawn, You, 

in You, I, 

in us the same rat-like fear.

And again the night, 

and again the fangs... 

Is it You who weeps, 

or is it my dreams?

W mroczną noc —

mroczne sny.

W mrocznych snach —

szczurze kły.

W Twoich oczach:

cichy krzyk.

W krzyku płacz,

w płaczu płaszcz,

w płaszczu ja —

szczerzę kły jak szczur

w mrocznym śnie,

w mroczną noc.

Na Twych ustach:

cisza, szept.

W szepcie Ty,

W Tobie płacz,

z którego łzy płyną donikąd.

A z tego donikąd

wychodzi świt,

blady jak strach,

zimny jak świst.

W świcie Ty,

w Tobie ja,

w nas ten sam szczurzy strach.

I znowu noc,

i znowu kły...

Czy to Ty płaczesz,

czy to moje sny?
